Every third Sunday of the month from 10am to 4pm (activities end at 2pm).
In conjunction with Bank of Hawaii Family Sunday, the museum also holds a free Family Day at its location in Makiki Heights, with entertainment and an art activity. Explore the beauty of this location: its gardens, exhibitions in both the galleries and Café, and Museum Shop.
Take the free shuttle bus that runs between the Honolulu Museum of Art and Spalding House, so you can enjoy both events in one day.
Limited parking is available. Street parking is not permitted.
February 17: Happy Dance
Kids can make art inspired by Jane Hammond's Untitled #41 currently on view in the In the House exhibition.
Join Nancy Kulp for storytelling AND music and hula-hoop fun! Nancy will lead keiki in different activities to get their bodies moving and grooving!
March 17: Points of View
Inspired by the Bonus Room activity from our In the House exhibition, kids can express how they see themselves and the world around them by creating a watercolor self-portrait.
