Twelve award-winning, powerfully inventive features, documentaries, and short films celebrate the contributions of African Americans to every aspect of contemporary culture. The films range from a soulful tribute to a community of internationally acclaimed African-American artists to vintage blaxploitation classics. Nationally recognized entrepreneur Wally Amos will be master of ceremonies for the opening night reception on Feb. 25. The festival runs, Feb 25- Mar 4.
